DUR S new member Jacob
Hi guys,
probably a little late, but there's a new bloke from across the ditch on the forum called Jacob. He's already started posting so give him a warm welcome and make him feel at home.
In other team news, we have 2 racers Alex and Chris asking to join our team but we have only the one spot available.
I guess we could just choose one of them - I have already sent messages to both racers letting them know about our team, the SS and how it all works but haven't heard back from either yet. If any of you want to check out their credentials ( or lack of) here are their pages.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Chris
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Alex
Or we could vote on booting Jason Mathers and if he is out, we can take both applicants?
Let me know what you think.

Re: DUR S new member Jacob
Think we should accept the first new guy (Chris or Alex) that applied and do a team vote out for Jason Mathers.
6.6 Team vote out
In cases when the team leader decides that a team member does not fulfill the requirements of the team for some reason, he or she may start a team "vote out" against the team member. A vote out will cost the team leader $3.000.000 to initiate, and an additional $1.000.000 will be paid by each team member who participates in the vote out (including the team leader). When at least 8 team members have participated in the vote out it is considered successful and the team leader will be given the right to kick out the voted out manager from the team. A team vote out spans over two weeks time from the day it was initiated and only one team member can be voted out at any time.
This will cost us a small amount of $$ but we kinda have to be all in on this or it will be a waste of time...
Once Jason is gone we then can accept the other newbie.

I'm happy to get some fresh blood, but they need to participate, and if they can't reply back then is not looking too good for either of them

Thanks for the welcome!
A vote out seems fairest, although I probably won't have much sway in the grand scheme of things

In the grand scheme of things, it will cost you all $1mill, and me $4mill which is 11 poofteenths of bugger all, so I'm happy to go ahead with the vote, but we currently have 9 members - 8 if we don't count Jason, and we need 8 members to vote him out.
So we probably should have a group message go out through the GPRO website to make sure everyone is totally on board. No point all of us spending the money to only get 7 yes votes.

Re: DUR S new member Jacob
welcome Jacob.
as for the vote out it seems to be a no brainer and we shouldn't have a problem getting everyone as long as we make sure its done within a timeframe that we know everyone is available - that's if there is a time limit in which everyone has to vote.
as for the other two new guys, given they haven't replied to your message I say we wait it out and make sure we get someone who is going to contribute

They both have replied now and are both pretty keen to join our team.
I had a thought that we could at least get them both onto this forum to start learning about the game while we deal with Jason.

Re: DUR S new member Jacob
Hi guys. I'm Chris and would like to thank you for the oppurtunity to join the team.
I'm into rl F1 and love watching the Sky coverage (except those pesky Americas races at 3am).
Also a massive Aussie Rules fan with my mighty Crows killing it at the moment.
I put it on another forum post but I'm a paid up member of GPRO tools website and whilst I've been informed it isn't perfect, if anybody wants to use it, I'm happy to plug in anyone's stats and see what it spits out for you. I have no idea about the setups so it gives me a fighting chance of getting a better setup than I would if I did it myself. If anyone else uses it, perhaps we could share it so we get twice as long out of our memberships. I'm happy to go with the flow though.
I also run my own business from home and it isn't a labour intensive job so if anyone needs anything, let me know and if you have to wait an hour for a response, then something is wrong!
Thanks for having me!
